Four years ago B.C.V.F.D. conducted comparisons of class A foam and "wetting agents". After comparing three different varieties we decided to use drench, based on price per gallon and quality of final product. Since we began using drench we have noticed a considerable drop in the amount of water we use.

B.C.V.F.D. currently uses drench premixed in all of our apparatus, which respond to structure fires, vehicle fires, and wildland fires. We will continue to use drench well into the next century.

Sincerely,

Dallas A. "Dak" Kelp
Chief
